TVSummary guide: Real World Las Vegas Episode 9 Summary

Steven's best friend, John, comes for a visit.  Turns out John is gay.  Steven thinks it will be good for Alton.  Help him to understand gay people. Alton thought he was cool......... 

until he found out he was gay.  Then he was afraid John might try to jump him in the bathroom.  {Huh?  Where is this coming from?  Don't worry, there's too much information coming up!}

Steven talks to Frank alot and tells him how he doesn't have feelings for Trishelle, he just wants to sleep with her.

Alton has a fear of gay people.  We also find out Brynn's father is gay.  She goes out to dinner with Alton to talk about his feelings about gay people.  Alton doesn't feel gay people are human. {HUH?}  He has a hard time relating with people that aren't like him. {Yeah, that clears it up. }  Oh wait...there's more.....  When Alton was about 6 years old, he was almost molested.  The guy got his pants off and everything.  Alton got away, thankfully.  For years he couldn't handle having anyone come up behind him.  {I can understand that}  He would feel threatened.  Brynn tells him that she was raped once by someone of a different race, it doesn't make her hate that race of people.  She doesn't hate anyone.  {That gives us some explaination of why Brynn is the way she is too.  Pysch majors must be having fun with this show!}

The gang is out at a club and Steven starts talking to some sororiety girls.  Trishelle keeps shooting him looks and getting pissed.  They have words and Steven says he's going home.  He talks to Frank and tells him Trishelle is a basketcase just because he was talking to some girls.  Frank says Trishelle has feelings for Steven and he needs to cut it off with her.

Steven goes into Trishelle's room to talk to her. He says he thought they could both handle it but maybe not.  Says they should just be friends.  Trishelle tries to act like it isn't bothering her.  She starts to give him her "cute" face and Steven tells her to stop, it makes her irresistable.  In voiceover, Trishelle says that Steven has tried to break things off before but always winds up in her bed.  {Wouldn't you know...he's already kissing up to her.  But...in the too much info department...They DON'T USE Condoms?!?!??!  In this day and age, she's not on birth control and they don't use condoms. Unbelieveable!}  Yikes!!!

The gang goes to Steve Madden store.  They have to do promotions for him that night at Ghost Bar.  They put shoes on display and give away t-shirts.  At some point during the night, some guy grabs Alton's balls.  He wants to punch the guy.  Steven tries to talk him down.   Alton comes to his sense and goes to talk to the guy, telling him it wasn't cool what he did. {This guy is drunk....there's no reasoning with a drunk person}  The guy does apologize and Alton accepts it. {He's growing up}

Later that night maybe, Alton and John are sitting in the smoking lounge talking.  Alton feels like they had a really good conversation and he is learning more about gay people and becoming more accepting.  He has become more accepting since coming to Vegas and meeting so many different type of people.

Steven and Trishelle make a pact.  If either of them messes around on the other, then what they have is over.  In voiceover, Steven says it's the golden handcuffs.

Alton tells Trishelle that he had a dream that she was pregnant while in the house.  Later Trishelle tells Brynn about Alton's dream then says she's late. {hhhmmm maybe he's psychic?}
